BBC Countryfile Magazine | Favourite Walks In The Cotswolds

Discover a little known walk through The Cotswolds countryside, take in the local wildlife and the flora and fauna of this protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Starting in the South Cotswolds in the small and little known hamlet of West Kington in Nettleton civil parish in Wiltshire, England. The village is close to the county boundary with Gloucestershire and 6 miles southeast of the Gloucestershire market town of Chipping Sodbury, not far from Chippenham and South of the M4. The walk takes you along the village stream out into the open countryside, through the valley and back over The Cotswolds plateau through natural, untouched meadows that are alive with butterflies and bees, skippers and ringlets. See Buzzards swooping and calling overhead as traces of otters can be seen along the stream and meet crayfish straight from the water.
