Part of the job description/responsibility of inviting guests into your holiday let accommodation and local area is knowing the local area and being able to share some great places to eat, drink and be merry.

So myself and one of my greatest girlfriends, Sarah, set out on a Friday evening just before Christmas (unsure how we managed to extract ourselves at this late stage of December but we took out chance and left the husbands in charge of the kids-bliss!!) And we weren’t disappointed. As it was December the pub was decorated beautifully with lights and a lovely tree, the woodburner was roaring away and we were greeted with a friendly welcome by the staff – great start. Sarah and I decided to share some of the lovely tapas, I love going for a kind of sharing meal and trying lots of different flavours, it feels really social and fun! We chose: Pulled pork Nachos Homemade nachos as topped with six hour, free range slow cooked pulled pork. From the ‘Graze & Share’ Menu for £7.00 Tempura Chicken Goujons with sweet chilli dip Pan fried Chorizo in Red Wine With toasted sliced baguette Camembert & Cranberry Filo Parcels All from the tapas menu at a brilliant value 3 for £10.00 So share ad graze we did, washed down with some lovely crisp white wine for Sarah and a lime and soda for me (as designated driver!) All beautifully presented and delivered with a smile – an evening we’ll both remember fondly. So I can wholeheartedly recommend The Masons Arms for a meal during your stay in The Worcestershire Countryside! Very happily tested and recommended by Elaine atwww.coachhousecountrystays.co.uk
